Septiembre empezó como un mes normal. Joshua se estaba divirtiendo. Ya llevaba meses tomando en quimioterapia.
September started like a normal month. Joshua was having fun. By now, it has been months since he started chemotherapy.

Como ya habian pasado meses y su tumor no reducía de tamaño los doctores decidieron aumentarle la dosis de la quimioterapia.
Since a lot of time had passed, and his tumor didn't reduced size, the doctors decided to increase the dose of the medicine.

La última quimioterapia que Joshua recibió fue muy fuerte, y su débil cuerpecito no la asimiló bien. Joshua decía que sentía que se estaba quemando por dentro.
The last chemotherapy he received was to strong for his weak body. Joshua said that he felt like he was burning inside.

Normalmente las quimio que recibía eran ambulatorias. Se las daban en el hospital y regresaba a su casa. Esta fue diferente, Joshua se quedó en el hospital porque no se sentía bien, no podía ir al baño y se encontraba muy débil. Decía que le dolía hasta respirar. Se quedaba sin aire.
Normally he received the chemotherapy as an outpatient. He was released immediately home. This one was different. He had to stay in the hospital because he was not feeling good. He was not able to go to the bathroom, he was feeling week, and he was not able to breath well. He said it hurts him with every breath.

En septiembre 14 Joshua fue trasladado a cuidados intensivos otra vez.
On September 14 he enter into the ICU again.

Los doctores aseguraban que esta iba a ser su última noche con nosotros. Que necesitabamos estar preparados.
The doctors assured that it was going to be his last night with us. That we needed to be prepared.

Pero nunca perdimos la Fe. En especial su amada madre Sharon. Siempre se mantuvo positiva y orando. Otro día mas pasó.
But we never lost our faith. Specially his loving mother Sharon. She was always standing positive and praying. Another day went by.

Aún en Intensivo, Joshua recibió la visita que le hacía falta para continuar adelante. Recibió la tan esperada visita de su hermano gemelo Joseph. Que alegría le dió a ambos!!!
Still at ICU Joshua received the visit that he was expecting for so long. He received the visit of his twin brother Joseph. They were both very happy!

Joshua le pidió la mano a Joe y luego no se la quería soltar. La visita de Joseph ese día fue de gran ayuda a Joshua.
Joshua asked for Joe's hand and he didn't wanted to let go. Joseph's visit that day was really helpful for Joshua!

Sin ventilador, respirando por su propia cuenta, y ya en cuarto!!!!! Joshua es un Milagro del Señor!!! Aquí en esta foto está dandole gracias a Dios junto a su madre Sharon, quien es a mi entender la mujer mas valiente del mundo. Nunca perdió su Fe ante un momento tan difícil como el que estaba pasando.
Without ventilator, breathing by himself, and now in a room!!! Joshua is a Miracle of God!!! Here in this picture he is giving thanks to God, with his mother, who to me is the bravest woman ever. She never lost her Faith even in the terrible moment that she was facing.
Aquí se ve a Joshua con su orgulloso padre Edwin, quien no se separó de su lado en ningún momento y tampoco perdió su Fe.

Describir este mes fue muy difícil. Me hubiera gustado dar mas detalles pero me fue imposible, fue un mes muy difícil para toda la familia. Me animé a escribirlo sólo porque sabía que el mes venía con un final feliz.
Writing this particular blog post has been very difficult. I wanted to get into a bit more detail but it was not possible to me. It was a very difficult moment for all the family. I was able to write it because I already knew that the month came with a happy ending.
